After filling my tank to the very top i folt id drive like my mum for a week and see what i could get out of a tank.
Well i got 336 miles and it was not totaly empty i could have probaly got 360 miles out of a tank but dident want to run out as there were not many filling stations the route i was going. this was 60% motorway and 40% round town ruffley it was avarageing on dash at 22.2 mpg but when i worked it out it toke 98 ltr to do 336 miles which i make it 15.44 mpg..
what are you guys getting to a gallon/tank ???? and what is your dash reading on mpg ???? as it could be a long way out like mine....

I got 300 miles on 63.62 litres (13.95 Gallons) and had an indicated 22mpg but the actual equates to 21.5 mpg. I have a stage 1 remap which may also have improved things when I can keep my foot off the loud pedal.
Fuel tank is indeed 82 litres or 18.06 Gallons

I have only had 300+ once or twice in 3 years
anything from 150ish to 280 miles a tank of the lovely 99'
Noticed fuel consumption got alot worse once the Miltek was fitted for some reason

I nearly always get 300 on every tank as I always have at least 1 long run and use the car every day. Best was 345 and ran out of fuel LOL.
When I fill a tank it normally only lets me put in around 75 litres.

Average around 330-360 miles per tank (no city traffic driving, mostly long quite A roads). - The dash reading is normally either 21mpg or 25mpg
Best was 450 miles to the tank - drove 430 miles to Scotland at 70mph on cruise and computer still said I had 55 miles left (altough the next morning the light was on and only saying 20 miles)
Worst was 210 miles to the tank - the first week I got it.

.
always thought this was possible. . . as I worked out it had a theoretical range of 500 miles based on maximum MPG achieved via cruise control

I also did the return journey on 95 octane to compare it to see if my normal 98 octane really does do better mpg
(only because the garage in the Scottish village I was staying had ran out of Super & it was my mates turn to pay for the fuel so I had no choice)
- the outcome was I only managed 400 miles driving the same style & speed back before the light came on - go figure, the petrol companies were telling the truth.
And before anybody comments that I drive like my Mum, you soon get fed up putting over £400 of your own money for fuel each month just to get to work & back - its amazing what you do to try to experiment to save fuel and still drive a RS6 everyday

Managed 420 miles with 10 remaining, it's good to know it's achievable when necessary, but the engine thought the turbos had been disconnected

Thats what my Prius is for. 35000 miles PA in her. £15 road tax, congestion charge exempt, 58mpg...
Stop me quick, else I will pursuade myself to drive it everyday!

Just calculated that if I did that mileage in the 6 then it would cost me £7865.55 pa in fuel alone

Got from poole to dumbarton (just outside glasgow) on a tank as a test. Was doing 68 mph on cruise with no aircon, lights or heaters. The light came on just short of glasgow to be fair but the whole journey is 475.9 miles. I must have been on fumes coming into the driveway. From what i claculated thats 31.2 mpg. Normally though i won't get any more than 200 - 280 miles on a tank. Less if im feeling naughty.
