I've finally received my PSS9 kit. Looks lovely, but it's definitely extremely light in the instructions department. I mean there're none. At all.

I'm going to try to write a tutorial on removing the DRC and fitting / adjusting the PSS9s.

I've looked at the sticky, but it's a definitely missing quite a few essentiel steps. So, I'd appreciate the help of those who have already fitted them:

1. How do you adjust the height? I mean where do you start? Before you put them on the car, or after?
2. Are you supposed to remove the transparent plastic cap on the other side of the adjuster knob?
3. The adjustments marked on the knob are 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9. There isn't a very positive click for any of them. Can they be adjusted at, say, 7

That's it to start with. I'm sure I'll have more as I get into the job.

7 will be like DRC, all bouncy and floaty and I agree the click is not very positive, next to useless when you can't see and are fumbling behind the rear wheel whilst chilling out as a missionary on tarmac. Don't go softer than 4.

As to fitting, think you may need expert advice from them that fit them all the time.

Looks like the experts are keeping the info to themselves

1. Best to fit them IMO in either of these 2 ways depending on yourself
a) as they come out of the box. Let them settle for a week or 2 and then re-adjust to your liking
b) set them to the higher measurement stated in the booklet. Let them settle for a week or 2, and then adjust again to your liking.

Easier to lower them than raise!

2. NO.....don't remove the plastic cover

3. I'm trying to think, but pretty sure you can use 7 even though not printed on the knob. Yes the clicks are totally positive, but what i've found is turn it slowly, and then when you feel the click, try and move it back, and you'll feel a bit of resistance, and you know that it's set on whichever no. you was trying to go for.

I have the Bilsteins and the Hotchkis ARBs. With regards to settings depends on roads you are driving. In London I am on 7 and this is much better than DRC. There are too many potholes and speedbumps for any lower. If you are on very good roads try 4 or 5. If on track then 1 or 2.
