That's right just carry on pushing our residuals into the floor
I'm sure you'll get a bargain given current prices, so just check out market rates and have a fair negotiation.

Thats the problem, everyone whos paid 20-30k for these in the last couple of years still expects to get the same amount back !
Unfortunately we have to keep it real in this current climate and lower our expectations.
...and the RS6 is not recession expempt

DRC replaced?
Full Audi/Specialist service history with proof?
Next service date and MOT/Tax?
Water pump/ CAM belt service ?
Gearbox mapped? 510BHP by who?
Is the owner an enthusiast?
Good tyres £200 each....

14000 - I would not touch it without a good history either plus at least 6 months MOT - 2 decent tyres circa £500 and you'll probably need 4

I think there are a lot of "cheap" RS6's out there, but unless your fully clue'd up on the running / maintenance costs of these bad boys then you could be in for a shock !
So while Joe Bloggs could pick up a dog for £14k, once's he'd had his major service + cam belt, plus 4 news tyres, had his faulty DRC ripped out and had a detail cos the paint work is shocking - he'd be better off buying a £18k mint example like the one that started off this thread.
Therefore, if you got a mint example and selling - hold firm, and a clever buyer will find out, the less informed will be wishing they had !

I don’t call a RS6 with full Audi service history from an Audi dealer with 12 month AUDI warranty (so no worries with gearbox or DRC issues as of course its covered) new set of RS6 wheels (and the deal was you could keep the Abt wheels to do as you please), supplied telephone number of previous owner for history of remap etc .....a dog! Oh and at £14995! A sensible price.
Sorry, but it’s no one’s fault on here that prices have dropped it’s the state of affairs across the globe as we all know. And it’s not just the RS6 that’s plummeted; a BMW E60 M5 was sold locally for £22500 only 2 weeks ago. Also, if you’re not looking to sell why worry what your cars worth? Just drive it! Hardly an investment anyway as cars go, not that unique (compared to B5 RS4 or RS2) extremely juicy in today’s world mpg and pretty long in tooth now with the current crop of new range of A6’s coming from the Audi stables.
Oh, and to answer the original question, with Red leather it will make the car harder to sell (imo) so you can use that against the seller when putting your offer in. Ask all the right questions and try and get a feel for how desperate he is, you may find yourself walking away with a real bargain. I’d look to pay 13K as it currently stands maybe even less if you feel he is desperate.

hey ! I agree that the Audi one is a deal, its a steal, its the sale of f**king century. I wasnt referrring to that one as a dog. I think someone else did on another thread as they had driven it.
an extract from my experience, when I was looking back in Oct, I was offered a 52 avant with 27k miles for £14.5k but with no history and audi CS could only confirm it had 2 services and the last was 2 years ago ! The bodywork was a state, scratches and dinks, leather was stained and the salesman was the dodgiest guy, bullsh*t coming out from all orafices !
