It'll need to go on a body jig , the quarter panels are quite bent . Look at the gap under the tail gate to the quarter panel ...

Hi mate, I've emailed the guy we'll see what he says, I'm in the trade myself - not bodywork though. If things go well I could be in touch...
Cheers

Out of interest, say that car was recorded as a cat D, what sort of deduction would that make to its re-sale value? for example take two identical cars, one's 'straight' and worth say 18k and the other one a cat d - what would the price be?

I'm no expert in these matters, but in October my mint (but old) M3 was a cat D write off in a seemingly similar manner - I could have bought the car back for next to nothing and repaired it myself but was advised it would be pretty worthless afterwards.
My calculation was 12K insurance payout - I could have bought the car back for about 4/5K then 6/7K for the repair, meaning it was cost effective to do - however value of the car after that would be c.7K so its only worth it if you really love the car and don't want to part with it.
I didn't, so I took the money and bought my RS6!
