I've been trawling some other forums and have come across something interesting:
Bilstein has stopped the PSS9 for the RS6 due to mechanical failure and will not sell anymore units until they make the new PSS10 for our cars
The question is, is it true?

could well true, because the usa dealers said the bilstein kit is still in development, and kw is out of stock in germany because they are waiting for components
I think i have exhausted all avenues or it certainly feel like it! .....I would be prepared to try any other make of suspension for RS6,so i was able to use my car.

Bilstein has stopped the PSS9 for the RS6 due to mechanical failure
This is quite a serious allegation, particularly as many people have been going down this route to supposedly solve the DRC failure.
Anyone know the source and reliability of this?

The PSS9 shocks aren't leaking, it's to do with the plating:
http://www.rs6.com/forum/showpost.php?p ... stcount=20
we get snow and they salt the roads get rust on the coils and cant adjust the threads after a few seasons
