TV reception

Post by gumball996tt » Wed Jan 16, 2008 10:39 pm

Hi all

Like all you lucky RS6 owners I have the TV module.

I find it hard to get a good picture and often find that the tv is searching for a better channel.

I would be really interested to hear how your TV works for you and if you have experienced any problems that you have resolved similar to this please let me know

Many thanks

Jonathan

That is just about right for the TV reception.

UHF analogue ideally likes line-of-sight to the transmitter with nothing in between. The car's arial is not directional so it always picks up some reflections or interference. It will never be as good as a high-gain, directional chimney arial.

After 2012 it won't work at all as the analogue signals will be switched off.

Cheers, Gray
