LPG

Living in central London I am confronted with the congestion charge every day (£8 with the threat of £25 per day next year). Rather than trade in the beast I am considering an LPG conversion. Anyone done a conversion or know of any potential problems to avoid?:mech:
The idea of having the :addict: and being congestion charge exempt is very tempting.
Thanks

dnt do it..by a duel fuel car and keep the 6 for the open rd...and before any1 suggests it dnt buy an old black cab..it has to be licensed (plated) to be exempt from the congestion charge..

I live in Central London too. I use a scooter during the week. No con charge or parking fees, and 10 minutes to get anywhere. I use the RS6 at night, and weekends. Cheaper than a used Taxi and I get to earn some extra money at night delivering pizzas!

Would agree though, if the job is suited then a scooter is the way to go in busy cities.

I was also told by someone that I was doing the right thing by balancing my carbon footprint.
I told them that they must be confusing me with someone who gives a damn.
