Ownership costs, years 2-3

My RS6 is now sold to a fellow forum member, who I hope will introduce himself soon and continue to post about the car.

Here are the figures for my total cost of ownership over 23 months and 14k miles which others may find helpful.

Total mileage covered: 14316

Servicing: £720
Tyres (4 x Michelin PS2's): £920
Wheel refurb: £140
Tracker fitting and subscription: £700
Insurance: £1440
Road Tax: £430
Fuel: £3060

Depreciation: £16750 (*wince*)

Cost per mile: £0.52 excluding depreciation, £1.69 including depreciation.

It would be stating the obvious to say it's not been a cheap car to run, but owning and driving this vehicle has been an absolute pleasure, and in terms of meeting my needs over the past couple of years, I don't think any car could have done better. I hope the new owner (Drinks) derives as much pleasure from this car as I have done.
