keyfob

Post by whispers » Sun Oct 01, 2006 5:42 pm

hi , im having problems with my keyfob ...
it seems to work on and off and even if i unlock it manually the central locking doesnt always work by pressing the button on the drivers door panel .
is it simply the battery in the fob ? if so before i wreck it taking it apart , should i change the battery myself or go into audi ?
or is it something more serious and a main dealer job ?
any idea's please anyone ?

Presume you've tried the spare and getting the same results?
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

if it doesn't work when you press the button inside the car there is summat wrong. Better take it to the dealers.
RS6 (MRC'd with econodrive) is not just for Xmas
