Anyone here with resonators delete?

A friend that modded some cars from a different platform (non audi) told me that he got great results from factory exhaust with resonator delete (nothing else: mufflers still in place). Looking for more low end noise with a budget. I do have to mention I have mufflers delete now on the car and inside the cabin it drones more that I like with the windows up. Sounds good with the windows down…
I was wondering if anyone here has done that and how is it? Video or audio preferably …
Mostly asking to see if it’s worth the effort since the exhaust mounting rods are welded onto the resonators which makes the diy more complicated (and since its stainless steel requires Aragon/Co2 gas for welding besides getting the angle right on the mounting rods once they are cut off and welded back on straight pipes which are pretty cheap to buy).
