Wheel bolts.
Having curbed my alloys. I will be replacing them soon with Genuine Audi RS4 B7 Le Mans. 19x9xet29.
Have always wanted a set of these.
These wheels use radius mounting bolts whereas my current wheels use taper bolts. And both sets of bolts have a thread length of 28mm
I have a spare set of suitable rad bolts
From all that I have read the correct genuine Audi bolts are 14x1.5xR13 - 28mm long thread. 17 mm Hex
Some Bolt suppliers say R13 are standard
Some say R14 is the correct bolt.
Anyone know for sure
I also read that all genuine Audi alloys are radius bolts.
Aftermarket are generally taper bolts.

Re: Wheel bolts.
Yeah, they’re definitely radius bolts and also floating radius. It’s surprisingly difficult to find those aftermarket. I got some from Virdee about 10 years ago. Can’t remember if they were R13 or R14. I’ll try to dig up the info.

Re: Wheel bolts.
Thank you Ben.
My guess is that they should be 13mm Rad
13mm rad floating bolts for sale
14mm rad floating bolts for sale
Just trying to ensure I get the right bolts.
Both companies say that their bolts are compatible with the RS4 B7 alloy wheels.

Re: Wheel bolts.
You could always get OE ones.

Re: Wheel bolts.
Yes Ben. These were the ones I was looking at.
Wheel bolts.
Hi
Standard wheel bolts are M14X1,5X27,5
2-part and R13 part number WHT002438 and about £4.50each from the stealer
By the way, I approve of your choice of wheel, it fits the wide bodied C5’s nicely. I’ve had a set for 16yrs and I currently use them as a winter wheel fitted with a studded tyre

Re: Wheel bolts.
Yes they are great looking wheels.
I will get the two part bolts shown above but they are part WHT002437 not WHT002438
Don’t know if there is any difference.
As the sizes look to be similar.
Car in Body Shop 20/5/24 for a week. Slight rust marks on offside rear wheel arch.
Full repaint on rear bumper.
Photograph shows alloys being collected from the powder coaters. They did a great job.
Alloys/TPMS/new bolts will be installed 30/5/24
Re: Wheel bolts.
Hi Steve
You want the WHT002438 as it’s a 2 piece design which is used on all RS models.
The WHT002437 is a single piece and doesn’t have the loose collar.
I recommend you purchase the correct ones, but it’s your dime as they say over there…
Regards
Craig

Re: Wheel bolts.
Hi topman.
The above bolts purchased are the two piece bolts.
Or at least I believe they are.
Also states that they are RS4 B7 OEM bolts.

Re: Wheel bolts.
WHT002438 is the VAG reference for the bolts for our cars.

Even Ben agrees!Shoppinit wrote:WHT002438 is the VAG reference for the bolts for our cars.

If I Google WHT002437 it’s a solid bolt which is the wrong one

Re: Wheel bolts.
Defo not OEM for a AUDI RS6 B7.
They are going back.
Just spoke to supplier he confirmed the wrong bolts have been sent.
Had to go to the garage to check them out.
They also confirmed that the advert did indeed have the wrong part number.
Shopp and topman are correct.
The part number on their advert should have been
WHT 002 438.
Bolts have been returned today. Hopefully they will be replaced with the correct OEM bolts ASAP.

Re: Wheel bolts.
Bolts posted back to them on Friday 10/05/24.
They should have received them on Monday 13/05/24.
Chased them a couple of times but so far nothing except :
“We will let you know when we receive them back”
And “we are currently going through returns”
.
You would have thought that they would have been quick to put right their mistake (They sent the wrong bolts).
Coming to the conclusion that quality customer service means very little these days.
Checked out their reviews. Lots of very satisfied customers. Hopefully my situation is a one off.

Re: Wheel bolts.
After chasing them all week.
And several messages going unanswered.
I Finally got a response today.
Although they received the bolts back at11:03 on Monday.
Due to a member of staff being out of the office until today. The bolts sat on his desk all week.
Lots of messages back and forth today.
Hopefully resulting in the correct bolts being sent out today and if I am lucky I may get them tomorrow.
We got there in the end. But all the faff is totally unnecessary and unwanted in my opinion.
