Reading all your old posts, following your journey, and learning from you is one of the reasons why I've enjoyed this passion/problem with these cars.

I hope you end up finding a car that replaces it one day.

I'm tempted to buy her off you for spares, as I know how much time and effort you put into it.
However I think that it would be better for someone to get her back on the road.
Hope you get on well with the C8, but don't forget your old buddies on the C5 forum.

It's hard to forget you lovable, like-minded old farts, that and the C8 forum is pretty damn dead! The C8 is nice and all that, but she doesn't have any of the soul/feel that the C5 has, she is still my favourite RS6 by a country mile.

Let's put it this way, the C8 turned up yesterday, and aside from putting her on the driveway next to the C5, she hasn't moved! Ignore all those random plant pots, an unwanted recent gift...

The current RS6 is quite a porker in comparison to the C5!

Hopefully someone decent will take it on. If you're lucky they might take the plant pots at the same time

Lol, I would gladly throw some of them in! I have nowhere for most of them to go and am not really a Gardenist.

Other than putting this up on here, still haven't advertised her. I've had the usual, people making all the right noises, long convos about everything, but nobody on the driveway looking at her yet.

Another 9 months or so on, next-to-zero effort made by me to sell her, but I have really run out of driveway space now as I added an RS E-Tron GT to the household this month....

I added a few bits into the deal (look at the *** part at the very top of the ad) and adjusted the price a smidge.

Footers GLWS. Like others have said, really hope someone buys Brutus with the intention of getting her back on the road.
I still think deep down that you don’t want to let her go ?

Need the driveway space, really, really don't want to see her sit through another winter unloved, don't want a breaker making extra profit off me by selling the exhaust, wheels, intercoolers, brakes etc. and offering me the same price that the buy standard ones in for. I have offered her up for exactly the same price that the breakers have offered to me - £4000.
