I am glad to give an update on this product. The initial mould has now been taken. It needs a little touching up to get it perfect but nothing that’s not to hard for him.

We may be ready in a couple of weeks to actually start selling these.
Initial talks I believe you will be looking at the £6/700 for an undertray out of fibreglass. He is also willing to make them out of carbon fibre for you people that have too much money burning a hole in your pockets.

He doesn’t work with plastic. He’s a composite material parts producer.

We don’t have a prototype.

We’ve taken a mould from an original RS6 under tray. It will have all the air vents and everything just like the original. The only difference is it will be made of fibreglass instead of plastic.

Just sticking an oar in. There was someone else making bits with carbon fibre. How feasible/expensive would it be to make a carbon fibre version instead of glass fibre? I assume both can use the same mould.
