What is the actual mechanical / ECU / Programming Difference between the RS6 and RS6 Plus models?

I read somewhere that the turbo cartridge was upgraded - is this true?

No. Same engine, just a different ECU program. Same torque, 30 extra bhp. Much better maps are available from MRC or similar.

The plus had slightly lower suspension (optionally). There were some small trim differences.

We dont have MRC down here in NZ, so will have to hunt around for a good tuner, I have 2x C5 RS6's to do

You can get generic maps that can be installed remotely that don't push the limits as much as a tailored map. It's what I have and I'm pleased with it. Not sure if MRC do this.

MRC do offer a postal service, ship them your ECU (& TCU if needed) - they reset my car back to stock that way.
