Navigation plus code help

Hi everyone, for some reason my navigation kid is asking for the radio code and I’ve realised after 9yrs of ownership I’ve never had it is there any way of getting the code online? Any experience of this prob would be great

Do you have the original books that came in the folder.
The radio code is usually written in the handbooks.

I have to re enter the radio code when the battery has been disconnected for whatever reason

Assuming it's an RNS-D there are (or were) cheap/free decoder services available online, just need the serial number off the label.
BUT, it's not just gone "SAFE" has it, often caused by a wiring defect?
