Considering selling soon

Post by Foxmeister » Sat Apr 29, 2023 9:15 am

Just to let the forum know I’m considering parting with mine possibly this year at some point, so if you know anybody interested you can point them my direction

It’s been a fantastic experience with the old girl, never had a car this powerful and easily brisk at picking up speed when it needs to, even at this age now it can show a clean pair of heels to most

Unfortunately due to an ongoing house renovation that’s bleeding me dry of time and money, and also having other cars I use regular, I don’t have the time to enjoy the RS much these days and it being sat around won’t be good in the long run

I haven’t made an ad as I’m not wanting to sell asap, hoping to enjoy what I can over next couple months and will likely put an ad up once I come to terms of letting it go and dry my eyes about it eventually

GLWS. You'll miss it when it's gone, but tis better to have loved and lost, etc.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Very true Shop, if I had time/space for it, it would stay but 4 cars and ongoing house renovations don’t mix well

Genuinely puts a grin on everytime I drive it, noise, power, capability etc, does it all so well

^ totally agree. I still have that feeling that I am
Grinning like a big Cheshire Cat, every time I jump in and drive the car.
Which is everyday as this is my daily driver since 2012.

To this day they still look awesome. When parking up and walking away I still look back and smile.

Not many 20 year old caRS can do that IMO.

Too true Steve, it just looks right

I would eventually come back to the fold in future, but maybe try a C7.5 as I always fancied one of them in the right spec

Not that they are above it per say, but serve different purpose or nostalgic connections

Audi A4 B5 2.8 Quattro sport (currently abandoned, daughter wants this for some reason)

S2 Escort RS Turbo (won’t sell this as I wouldn’t pay current prices to replace it and love it also)

Octavia VRS 2022 (new daily I bought few months back)
