Slight misfire

Hi all,
I have a slight misfire under heavy load, it’s not a full loss of power but it certainly hesitates. Ran diagnostics and nothing has come up accept the following.
0010752
18010 - power supply terminal 30 - P1602 - 002 - voltage too low - intermittent
It had new coilpacks and spark plugs last year. Guessing it could be a boost leak or a leak on the MAF seals?
Also have two fault codes for the HVAC
High pressure sensor (G65) open or short to plus
Air quality sensor (G238) faulty
Is this the reason my aircon isn’t working?
Thank you
Alex

Intermittent Terminal 30 voltage too low usually means its had a flat battery at some point.
High pressure sensor G65 will stop the AC working.

High pressure sensor problem = no AC. Common problem. Easy fix.

Would these faults explain why my fans wind up straight away on a cold start?

That could be the temperature sender. Although I’ve got a feeling that if your AC is on, you’ll get that jet engine starting up fan noise. Check the 2 temps coming from the temp sender.

Is it used regular?
Mines can sit for 2-3 months if im busy as i have other cars, and it doesnt like old fuel, after about 4 months one time i took it out and it was hesitating, flung half a tank of fresh juice in and it was fine again after that

Haven’t had a lot of time lately to work on my car but now the weather is slightly improving I’m trying to get everything sorted before the summer comes. I took the car to my local garage yesterday and asked them to smoke test the boost pipes and it turns out that both my intercoolers are badly leaking.
They’re going to see if they can get a set of oem ones and I am looking to see what I can find online. Looks like you can spend £1500 on Wagner ones which I don’t want to do or Airtech ones for £688. Does anybody have any experience with airtech? Is it better to just buy oem ones if I can get hold of them?

The oem won’t be cheaper than the Wagner and probably not available anyway. Plus they are <beep>.

I can’t justify spending that much, I might try the Airtech ones instead.

Sure, there have been a few alternatives mentioned over the years. Have a search through the threads.

Been waiting over a month now for my local garage to get me a new pressure switch but it still hasn’t dispatched apparently. I have found one on euro car parts and it says it’s compatible with my car. Would somebody mind having a look to see if it’s the correct one please?

It cross references with the OE part number 8E0 959 126 :

I'd take the risk. Worse case, send it back.
