Interesting. I've been thinking about this. You can get a pretty good finish with Plastidip. The tricky bit is where there are illuminated bits. I was looking at CNC laser etching the plastidip off in those areas, but there's never enough time.

Their work looks good. I'd definitely consider sending bits to them.

I reckon that could be Cromas EROS paint over a black primer.

I have a CO2 laser at work for cutting/etching... hmmmmmmmmmm.

How does that compare to plastidip?

If I we're in the UK (aside from not being in a f'ing lockdown) I'd remove and post the + - buttons from my climate control. Can't lose really, I'm going to have to buy a good used unit (non RS6) for the buttons anyway if it didnt work out.

No idea, never used either, I've just seen the Cromas stuff recommended as an alternative to the rubberised powder coat for use on plastics.
