Evening All,

I have just had to remove these leather Recaro’s from my recently acquired RS6. Absolutely love the seats and they are in excellent condition but my wife can’t see over the dash and putting the originals back in.

The previous owner sold these to me with the car and if I am honest, a bit gutted to take them out but wondered if anyone here would be interested?

I have the matching RS leather bench for the back too so a full set for a C5. Front seats are have the carbon back which are spotless.

Please DM me if interested and open to sensible suggestions for the set. These new are c£3k for just the 2 front seats!

I may be interested, only need the fronts. What kind of leather are they, have they been retrimmed or the ambla leather that the Recaro's come in?

Absolutely! Great point and I had underestimated this weight difference and the impact it makes.

So you lose the heated seats ? Lose the electric operation ? You can see all the exposed rails underneath ?

I take it these are not a factory option at any point ? They just look at odds with the overall design of the car IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I love them, but just don't think they look right in this car ?

Till you throw the car into a corner at speed and the standard seats try and throw you out of them !!, can get them heated,rails look factory and tucking the wires is easy enff

Totally depends on how you use the car and preferences. Don’t think these were factory options but when you look at the factory options on M and AMG cars (sorry to mention them on the RS forum) they do includes carbon backed seats I think?

The car in the flesh with the seats looked amazing (not just saying that because I am selling them). They modernised the interior in my view and rails, wires etc were not visible at all.

Brutal

I have them in the mental manual I bought from Bambam, they are very comfortable.

I like them, if my car wasn't alcantara I'd seriously I'd give it some serious thought.
