Morning All,
I have recently acquired a C5 RS6 and looking for any recommendations in Hampshire for specialists that can sort a number of mechanical and suspension gremlins please? I am near Portsmouth and want someone that can get the work spot on..
Thanks,
Jon

Welcome Jon.
Don’t know about a specialist in your area but I’d want a tiptop detailing then ChrisA is your man. He’s local to you.
Matt might know someone. He’s not far from you IIRC. You’d probably have better luck if you post on a day other than New Year’s Eve. Most RS6 owners will have started drowning their sorrows sometime late afternoon.

Ha! Thanks and yes I have been in touch with Chris recently. Looking at QST in Hayward’s Heath or AmDTechnik in Woking. Will have a good look around...
Appreciate the response and noted re the timing of my post! I am a month in and started drinking again at the same time I got my RS6
Happy New Year.

I have been told that an important part of that statement is whether you are drowning your sorrows or toasting your excellent choice in cars. One is lamentable and the other laudable. Happy New Year.

Just use MRC, you'll benefit more in the longrun.

Personally I would opt for Unit 20 over MRC for general work and maintenance and use MRC for tuning. It seems to be most of what they do these days.

Really really helpful guys! Thanks and whilst Unit 20 is too far away, good to know QST and MRC are more local options for me. Have a feeling there will be a few visits.

I'm afraid my car has never been worked on by anyone other than me, in my ownership. I can probably give you quite a long list of places to avoid though.
But I've never used Kim (QST) or AmD Technik, so I know nothing about them. I do remember Kim from my powerboating days though :

Congrats on your choice of car. They are amasing if you keep on top of them.
As previous suggestions mrc or unit 20.
I personally use unit 20.
Hope you have many miles of happy motoring
And a very happy new year.

Cheers Steve and Matt. I have messaged MRC and think they will help sort it. Thanks for info and words of support! Looking forward to enjoying the car in 2021.
Matt - really interesting article re Kim at QST.
