Merry Christmas everyone

Post by Mɐʇʇ » Thu Dec 24, 2020 9:38 am

This forum remains one of the nicest around these days, a good group, no trolls (except maybe me), just a bunch of dudes that like a Twin Turbo V8 in their car.
Merry Christmas to you all and I hope that once the vaccine has a chance to do it's thing, maybe we should try and do the odd meetup next summer.

I’ve actually got a new trolley jack, a set of spanners and a bench grinder stand on my Christmas presents list.

The Mrs said “Surely you want something a bit less boring”.
I said “Boring? I will use these for decades of enjoyment making excellent stuff. You want to talk about boring, at least my present list isn’t full of over priced shoes that I’ll wear once, leave in the cupboard for years and then finally give to a charity Shop

I’m not sure if I’ll be getting any Christmas presents at all.

Have to say that Christmas greetings here might start a war in some countries. Good reading and I'll add a Merry Christmas to all. On the bright side, owning and fixing an RS6 is looking easier by the minute when compared with the other issues we may be thinking about.

Back to basics here, enjoying the time with friends and the family, and counting the last days of a doomed year.

There is a detailing Shop here in Canberra called OCD. On there Facebook page they are applying PPF protective coating to womens shoes. Showed the wife and she said those shoes can cost up to 10k. I don't feel so bad about the C5 hobby now.
