I'm hoping someone might know something about this car I've just bought. I know I've taken a risk not knowing what's been done to the car. I.e box , belts intercooler etc. I took a gamble because the car drives like new and is mint. if anyone knows the car I would appreciate any info. maybe prev owner? Thanks

I can’t offer any help on this car however wasn’t there one for sale recently where there was a mileage discrepancy? I tried to find the thread but no luck?

Doesn't come up on MOT history site. Was it on a private plate? Did you HPI check it before buying it using the VIN?

How much did you get it for? Can you notice any of front-end damage?

How weird. Plate not recognised on the MOT or tax checking website.
Also, check out the brilliant sentence construction of the error message:
Vehicle details could not be found
Vehicle details could not be found as it has not been possible to locate the vehicle details

thanks for reply's. I've since put a cherish plste on it, now m4fla. I'm aware of previous light front damage, however it has been fixed properly with genuine parts. Mileage seems to add up with mots etc. I'm going to have a go at a belt change; should be fun lol

It’s when you get to the crank pulley and find the allen bolts are all rounded off

haha. I've done worse. I'm dreading the water pump if the belt change hasn't been done for a while.

weird mileage issue but what would be the gain of giving it a 7k haircut. I think someone's made an error in listing it. all MOT's add up. I did buy it off a dealer and he offered credits card payment. so I think ok
