Just a heads up this car is suspect

I nearly bought it at £5k a good few weeks ago, the damage is legit but it’s been clocked and weirdly only a small amount and it’s missed an mot in that time too, hpi isn’t clear it flags up a mileage issue, mot history appears fine, so I put a £100 deposit on it, a mate of mine pointed me in the direction of cazanza and it bought up previous adds which confirmed the mileage discrepancy, mentioned this to the seller who copped a deffen and took my deposit.

I’ve added old for sale adds for cazanza, you can see it was on 125k miles ages ago and up to 132k when it was sold straight after the accident.

Personally it’s too expensive anyway, but if anyone gets tempted I’d go over the car with a fine tooth comb check engine numbers and such like.

Does the engine numbers check out ok? It was too far to travel for me, my mate said it looked lovely, but after I found the mileage issue out it put me right off, and without going round it myself I was wary.

Edit: it’s late numbers are fine then, fingers crossed it was just a dash replacement or something, he said it drove lovely too, maybe I lost out
