Correct steering position sensor?

Post by DirtyDiesel » Thu Oct 19, 2017 10:11 am

Hello, is J0 959 654AG the correct number I need for the rs6 c5? Trying to find the right answer everywhere and that seems to be the right one but I can't confirm it.

Thanks, Adam

Are you missing a digit from the front of that part number?

1J is Golf platform isn't it? Might be the same part. Sometimes they mix it up a bit, but not generally on parts like that.

Looks like the part number is either:

1J0 959 654AG
1J0 959 654AL
1J0 959 654M

Depending on your option codes.

Why are you replacing it?

The clock spring got turned one too many times when I had my new rack fitted so I've got abs, esp and airbag lights, no flappy paddles and sometimes no horn. I've just got the standard rs6 leather wheel.

It sounds like AG is the right one, I'll get a m12 spline socket over the weekend and double check as I don't want to get it wrong

Sadly not, just the normal 3 spoke one. would be they handy if it was a 4 spoke, with volume controls in easy reach.

If you've got the 3 spoke then it looks like you need the M version, neh?

Misunderstood the "multi function" bit. If that is the case that it an "M" one, that's half the price I was going to payfor one, which is awesome.
