Headlight washer jets (bumper off?) + oil leak help

Hey all,
I've had fun and games with a local garage that won't be named. They've done my paintwork which was good, but it seems like they haven't put a hose clip around the headlight washer jet (O/S I think), and it's popped off. Any time I fill the washer bottle it just pisses out of the bumper now.
Is there a relatively easy way to get to there? Taking under-tray or lower grill off? I'd rather put it right myself if I can, I'm a bit paranoid once a garage makes a mistake, I don't want more mistakes made as they fix a mistake kinda thing.
I'll also ask while I'm making a post, I've got oil leaking (under high revs) from somewhere around the oil filter housing. It's a bit tight there as you all know so it's hard to pin point. Is there a usual place that oil likes to escape? I've checked the oil filter was tight, bung on side of housing was tight, I couldn't get a spanner on the oil lines that go to the oil cooler, so it could be one of those, or none of the above.
Cheers.
Si.

the washer jets are deep inside the bumper so bumper-off I reckon.
Oil leak could be the pipe that always needs replaced with the 'bufkin' pipe, which sits inside the oil filter bracket.

Thanks mate, I guess taking the bumper off isn't the end of the world. More hassle than I wanted tho.
I thought the Bufkin pipe was for coolant, although I suppose being the oil-water heat exchanger i could have oil leaking from the same place. I hope not

I've been keeping an eye on it, normal driving it won't leak a lot, but after I went out for a decent hoon the other day there was more oil under the car than I'm comfortable ignoring so needs fixing.

RE: oil cooler, it might be the banjo bolt that holds on an oil line to the oil filter housing, seated on two crush washers. If you look down in the engine bay just past the black water pipe and exhuast manifold on the drivers side, you can see it. Think it's a 12mm and that might need nipping up (mine did after engine out). Bit hard to get to though and you have to double spanner it to get the leverage. 25nm so don't go too mad.

Nice one, I'll give that a try, and re-anneal the crush washers for good measure. Fingers crossed

It's pretty easy to remove the bumber. It's a 10 minute job. See the Cambelt DIY for my method.
Oil leaks are a pain unless you can actually see where it's coming from. Could be the infamous rocker cover gasket. Clean that side up with brake cleaner and see if you can determine with better accuracy where it's coming from.

You sure the garage haven't just forgot to connect the washer jet pipe back on? It's got a quick release clip on the near side just before it splits into 2.

Yeh my bets would be they haven't put the clip back on the washer hose to the bumper as seen in the picture below.

The rocker cover gaskets are clean and dry so it's gotta be around the filter housing... I can see the oil leak being a nightmare but I'll try re-doing the crush washers and keep my fingers crossed, hopefully that'll be it. One of the braided hoses going to the oil cooler needed replacing recently, I'm trying to think if the oil leak was present before that was done.. My memory's terrible. If not i'll have a good clean up, get it up to temp and get someone to rev the snot out of it for a while, should be able to see where it's spraying from. (In theory lol)
I forgot about the cambelt guide, nice one!

Ah, that's handy, I didn't know that was there. That's a big help.
Cheers for the help lads
