Milltek Exhaust

Post by Mɐʇʇ » Fri Jul 03, 2015 12:19 am

Where's the cheapest place to get a cat-back non-resonated exhaust. Either black or polished tips (I think I prefer black).
Don't want it fitted, just supplied and delivered to me.
Thank you. :)

I think it was demon tweaks I got mine from, I was after a 2nd hand one but they don't often come along.

You'll love it, makes the car sound how it should have sounded!

I think this is my problem.... I posted a vid link last week from YouTube (someone elses car) asking if it sounded "normal" - I've had quite a few V8s and they all sound like proper V8s - the RS6 on idle, in neutral sounds crap. I don't need it loud, I just would like it to sound like a V8. DId consider cutting out the resonator boxes myself, but am veering towards just putting another exhaust on.

I wish the rs6 could sound like half the V8s here in Vegas.

The V16 ones.
I've even been checking how much the new Mustang is back in the UK, can be rhd now. Specced one last night, £38k on the road. Independent rear suspension now, local Mustang enthusiasts aren't happy about it

It's not a bad price for a pretty good car. They look good, sound good and are fun to drive.

It's my love of V8 muscle that caused me to own an RS6. V8 engine, 5 seats, german engineering and reliability. What could possibly go wrong.

I love the muted V8 sound of the RS6. I would never put an aftermarket exhaust on it. I *might* be persuaded to remove the center silencer which makes the car just a little bit louder without changing the character of the exhaust sound. I probably wouldn't though.

My favourite thing about the sound of an RS6 is when you slowly cruise past people and they look around to see where the supercar sound is coming from, completely ignoring the estate.
