RS6 Stolen

Hi
I haven't posted in quite a while but that's been due to the exemplary reliability of my beloved RS6.
However last night my house was burgled for the keys to my car. Whilst we were upstairs with the dog.
As another high performance car was taken from a neighbour at the same time and the manner in which the crime was committed, the police suspect the car has been taken by an organised gang in Birmingham.
The car is a Daytona grey estate and featured on fifth gear recently so any potential buyers beware. Make sure any car you view is straight.
The likely hood is it will feature in another crime but in case it's to resell beware!!!!!

Thanks all. The scooby stolen alongside it has been recovered using its tracker. I'm not sure how I feel about getting it back if they find it.
If they've ragged it and chewed the gearbox up and smacked the previously working DRC I'm sure the insurance wouldn't cover it.
I just don't want anybody buying a car that may end up being taken from them.

I couldn't get past the last sentence...hopefully you haven't told the insurance company this?

We were asleep until the dog woke us. He was barking for 5mins until we realised and got up.
The reality of what happened is far too complicated to post.
Needless to say the police think it was a criminal gang job.
If the keys were upstairs or me and the dog had went downstairs the dog wouldn't be here and I wouldn't be posting this.
The insurance know the whole story. Although a Soldier I'm definitely no vigilante crime fighter

You'd have thought the C5 would have dropped of the radar of these crooks. Better the car gone than you.

When my wife's Beemer was stolen the police did say that they might have been after the rs6, it wasn't at home though. They recon the bast4rds want big engined status cars that they can cram their mates in and hoon around before moving it on.

Glad you're all ok.
Maybe time to upgrade your dog?
