Contacted the dealer for info but wondering if anyone on here may have any knowledge on the car or dealer. Gearbox seals apparently just been replaced. Like the colour but yet to see it in the flesh, waiting to see what they come back with before i drive 1.5hrs to see.

Serviced at 101k but mileage is 99k?

I noticed that too, hoping it's a misprint.

Hi

Thank you for your e-mail regards to my RS6.

The car has been extremely well cared for at no expense spared. The car does Boast Full Audi History and has a large folder of bills and receipts. The cam belt was replaced 15k miles ago and i believe that they are due every 35k so not due again for 20k miles.

The car has had the seals replaced on the gearbox not many miles ago by audi, these are generally the cause of the common gearbox faults, the seals corrode and oil gets down into the box but these are all spot on.

There are no documents to support any steering rack changes or issue's, and the brake disc's were done about 10k miles ago.

Other than the usual light minor chips which you would expect on a car of 11 yr's old and 100k miles you will struggle to fault this car throughout, and the car is on Bilstein coilovers.

All i got in my reply was "can you give me the reg of your car so i can check it out". That was regarding my p/ex. Got no information back about the RS6 whatsoever after asking pretty much all the questions it sounds like you have.

Probably check on what date the cambelt was changed, as they deteriorate over time too. Every 4 years for the change.

Also check on what date it was last serviced, and what make / condition the tyres are.

Other than that, sounds ok. Not too sure about the box as that seems like a long time for the original.

Thanks EcuireEcosse, will see what dealer comes back with and ask further. Have my eye on 2 others but quite like the look of the colour of this one.

Too far I guess and not my fav colour combo , maybe a good last restort though
