Will the glass from any C5 fit ..?
Did a search and got lots of confusing answers unless I want to go down the auto dimming route.

Some <beep> has smashed mine and left a lovely scratch down the front wing...

Looks like you answered your own question chief...Shop you may well be redundant if this type of posting continues...

I've just bought an auto dimming replacement for the drivers side and im still getting over the shock of the £'s!

I don't know if anyone on here has fitted the ebay glass copies? be interesting to hear how much of a good fit they are?

I'm sure somebody must have the part numbers for genuine audi heated electric glass without auto dimming, i remember hearing its not too bad price wise, audi wouldn't give me the part number when i asked them as in their eyes it was not recommended to fit a non standard part which was not issued with the car or some rubbish.

There is a lot more stronger looking clips in the OEM glass backing plate than shown in the ebay advert so just be careful.

its 'one' of the items with a number 7 in the first column, you'll have to choose which one !
