Great choice of words ...

Post by Condor24 » Wed Aug 13, 2014 5:19 am

At recent gathering of reasonably well heeled, and fun loving individuals, discussion revolved around motor cars. It was a joy to hear the following description given about my original C5 RS6 ..

" It'll be a future classic. The surfacing on the body is sublime. And it embodies a bit of a golden age in German car design. Where engineering, ergonomics and elegance all fused perfectly. Audi has lost its way since. But you have a very special car."

It will certainly be a classic as very few will be left as one gearbox goes baNg after another...

Yes, I like this and agree with it.

The C7 looks good but the C5 is still my favourite car.

The C7 is in many ways miles ahead of the C5, but it won't ever be "better" for me.

The C7 HAS TO BE BETTER ... The C5 is an 11 year old car, whose technology comes from around the year 2000.

Today's car are too electronic and too detached.

The best drive in my garage is my 2007 Megane F1 230 BHP .. The cup chassis is brilliant !

So the C7, being a car of today, is better than a 14 year old car....or is it "too detached"? :?

I don't like the C7's butt... much prefer the looks of the C5, although i really want the gearbox out of a C7!

Couldn't agree more, there was one at MRC yesterday and that ass needs curves! It's like Kryton bending over...
