Squeeky Door

What does everyone use to resolve a Squeeky door?

Obviously i could use WD40 but wanting a long term fix
A7 3.0T - Pretty Std at the moment... in warranty
VW Caddy 2k 1.9 TDI - Std

White Lithium grease on the offended section would cure it.

How about a squeaky window?? Passenger window has started making hell of a noise when opening. Sorry to jump on your thread

Drummerman, I have the exact same problem, started a few months ago. It is loud enough to turn heads from 20-30 feet away if I dare open the window. 99% sure it is from the front side of the window seals. Once you get to around 1/3-1/2 down it stops.

Silicon spray lubricant from Halfrauds.

But it might be a regulator that needs lubing (just before it lets go).

Thanks, I will give that a go when I get a chance, as long as it doesn't foul the window with gunk or risk damaging the front tinting film :).
