Your 6 and your kids

Sat here waiting for 5 day old Miss R32tom to drop back off to sleep and was wondering for those who have kids, do they like your choice in cars?
Tried to start this one off early in the 6 by bringing her home in it but she didn't seem too keen on it as was promptly sick in her car seat. Personally I blame some dodgy milk not the coilovers or my driving!!
Master R32tom at 2 however is a different story! He gets excited about going in "daddy's car", can spot it from about 100yards away in a carpark, and hears me coming home about half a mile from the house and is waiting for me downstairs! He is car and truck bonkers though but I blame his mother on both accounts!

I just hope it gives him some happy memories from his childhood that he can look back on.
Though either way I couldn't care if they both hated it, I frickin love it, so there!

My nephew (now 4, was 3 at the time) asked me to go fast, so I gave it 3/4 throttle, enough for it to drop down two gears. He was in his car seat in the back and covering his ears crying and screaming it's too loud.

My daughter (2.5) goes 'Weeeeeeee' when I put my foot down. But she also tells me off for going fast.

My kids are in their teens now so although it's not cool to be seen with Daddy too often they do love rockin' up at friends houses in Dad's Taxi.....
Mrs hates the instant, head banging acceleration but I calm her down with a loving blast from the seat heaters, she literally melts into them
Brother popped round at the weekend asking if all the time (and money spent

) at the garage recently have been worth it......a quick run down the local "test track" (A road) soon convinced him that "My God......yes, it's worth it! Please stop now"

He's seriously looking at part chopping his recently purchased Cayenne for a proper four wheel drive turbo motor

Sorry gatecrashing, but my 5 year old got me into trouble when he said out of the blue "mummy, your cars doesn't make the same noise as daddy's. His car goes "screeeeaach" round corners and yours doesn't".

You can't keep anything a secret from my daughter. She told me a few months ago that mummy often gets lost in the car

My boy (20 months) just falls asleep in the 'loon. The avant keeps him awake a bit longer.

Is that with the valves open or closed Bam?

Closed. The avant has a 'fixed' sound but is a bit louder than the 'loon with valves colsed. I've taken him through the Hindhead with valves open but he didn't wake up.

I've had a few cars with the kids and decided that big v8's send them straight to sleep.

If they're awake, they love it and giggle if I do use my right foot. And conversely they sleep like babies in it when the time is right too. It's a great family car. So much so I'm still considering re-fitting DRC for a better ride on vacations!

My daughter 7 years doesnt care, as long as it drives...
My son 5 years gets in the car with his fingers in his ears and mention every Audi he sees when driving and complains why all the other people are driving so slowly.
My wife 35 years hates it; as soon as i notice she will grab something out of the dash, i give it the beans...
