Poor wee Scooby

Enjoyed a nice little drive from Aberdeen to Glasgow over the weekend.
Fortunately I'm well aware of the location of all 11 GATSO cameras and spots where the traffic cops sit.
Anyway this bug eye Scooby obviously fancied his chances so we played cat and mouse for a bit, slowing down for the luminous licence killing cameras.
It wasn't until Finavon where I know the traffic cops are almost guaranteed to lay in wait for the unsuspecting boy racer, that I eased of the gas and let Mr Scooby race past me. Not being completely evil, I gave him a flash of "I'm not playing anymore" but not for him. He continued the to eat up the tarmac on the motorway and disappear out of site.
Then out of the blue, literally, the blue flashing lights appeared on the traffic cop's Audi and away out after him.
I'd be lying if I said I did smirk for a millisecond.
I reckoned I was probably cursed as I past the pulled over Scooby cruising at 60 mph like a Sunday driving old man going for his shopping in his big ole estate car, unknown to the ignorant Scooby I have a big lump of a V8 Bi-Turbo lurking in my sleeper.
