Is it me or is a car for sale say worth more in bits and are we now in the territory of the dogs being broken and the good ones eventually increasing in value?

That's my thinking, too. Nice examples will go up in value when all the dogs have been broken / crashed. Once this starts, they disappear surprisingly quickly.

What constitutes a dog in the RS6 world? Knackered gearbox? High mileage? Blown turbo?

Just a state where the car is so unloved-for and tatty that it loses the will to continue living. You know the kind of car I mean.

No
Shop just got to thinking that there are a few being broken mainly for gearbox failures. I know well looked after ones are coming less and less for sale or is it just me?
It's my gearbox and then steering rack failure that's got me thinking.

I think all cars will go up in price, just the red ones that will go down.

Why would you admit to it being stolen and recovered if its HPI clear? It's good that he's honest but does seem like a dog with bits missing and no reverse

Already at 6k, some people have more money than sense

but that's good for prices of good condition looked after ones.

Unfortunately
More and more will end up being broken now.
Residuals sliding big time day by day.
If you got the cash
Go for it
if you ain't
Break it

Hey chaps, how've you all been?
As most of you said on here when I sold mine, I'm really regretting it.
Mine had just had all that money spent at grizzs and sold it 2 weeks later. Biggest mistake I made, and I've been looking for a replacement plus for a while. For me it's c5 rather than c6, but I could be tempted by an rs5 if my bloody numbers come up!
Too many people buy these cars and are surprised and unable to keep up with t's running costs.
Anyway, time for desert..chocolate fudge cake!!
