Will S5 rims fit?

Post by Blacky D » Thu Dec 26, 2013 10:56 am

Ladies and gentlemen,

Just a quick question, I've come across some S5 rims for a great price just wondering if they will bolt on to our cars.

You need to find out what the offset and centering joke size is.

///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

My RS6 is running rims which came off the current model RS5. Offset 32 (as opposed to RS6 OEM of 35), 5x112 bolt pattern (but that's most of VAG group), and 255/35R19 XL Pirellis. The only difference is that the A5s have a 66.6mm hub diameter (why?? did they get them from Mercedes?? http://www.wheelsupport.com/bolt-pattern-list-5-x-112), where as the RS6 (and A3/A4/A6/A8) has 57.1mm hubs - but sleeves are readily available. That 3mm extra offset looks just that bit better, I think. No problems with clearances.
