Wish I had the money to have kept mine... Bought it with 34k miles on it, No 126, totally standard, still had the new car smell.

I did get to enjoy it though...

Arguably better looking than my current one, although the new one gets much more attention and thumbs up. It sounded 5x better, though. Fact.

wellll.... I did sell mine...

and switched from a daytona avant to a silver C6 S6 'loon.

I do miss the grumble of the v8, and the slightly bonkers acceleration, but most definitely dont miss the pss-9s (and yes the s6 is not the best either, but man the pss9s really are too firm).

the RS is very special though - there isnt much out there that has that cool factor, and the sheer fun of the things.

Nice one, Ben-Hur.

I have the eternal struggle. I walk past both C5s every day, at the moment I'd have no issues selling the avant. I love the engine, steering wheel, seats and practicality. I hate the shell; the avant does nothing for me, the 'loon just looks so sleek, first of the classic 4 door coupes IMO. Then, you run into a problem with it and think, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fcuk this, I need to get shot and grab a C6 before the last drop of petrol is used up by the armies of Ford Mondeos. But I'll keep the 'loon and park it around the corner and not tell Lady_bam.
No matter where you go, there you are.
