Its back....

Picked up my car last night, so pleased to get back behind the wheel and its only been away 2 weeks!

Gearbox has been done, and whilst out the intercoolers were discovered to be leaking. Wagner kit with hoses have been put in and MAF sensor replaced. Once put back together and tested it transpired that the N75 valve was faulty, which wasn't obvious before as pressure was being lost from the intercoolers. I replaced the N75 valve this morning and all is well. Car has never felt so good, so very chuffed.

However as soon as I turn on cruise control I get a EPC light and ESP light on and the car will drive but with very limited power. Turn it off and back on and all is well again. I haven't had a chance to scan the car or talk to the garage, as had to go away for work, obviously will scan when back. However impatience has led me to ask if anyone has advice about what they think may be up. I presume something may not have been re-connected correctly, but would have thought that more would not be working.

Can drives as normal unless cruise is switched on. Any advice or gems of genius much appreciated.

Dunno, but it could to be something to do with speed signals or sensors i.e. If the car doesn't quite know how fast its going then it'll be hard to keep it at that speed. Do the speed warning alerts work?

Yep, speed warning alerts worked, checked that before I left.

EPC light is bad news, generally. You definitely need to scan for codes to see why it's unhappy.

:biggrin3: Dont worry mate, I work in drilling so very used to fixing one problem and finding 2 more!!

Hoping as the engine has been out for the box, something hasn't been connected or setup right, but time will tell!
