Hey Guys,
I appreciate this might be a bit of a how long is a piece of string question but I need urgent help.
When I started my car up from work today i had a really high idle 2k, drove fine all the way home. Then when I got home a re-started and idle is really lumpy. Now this would not be such a massive issue if I wasnt travelling to cornwall tomorrow PM.
I have hooked up the
Vagcom and cleared a load of codes (flat battery a few weeks ago). The only code I could see was a bank running lean but no other codes. but no codes have returned.
Can anyone give any advice at all, would really appriciate it!

Flat battery? Wonder if the throttle body needs re-aligning? Have you had the air filter box off recently?

Probably an air leak. What's your air flow at idle?

About 5g/s per bank if memory serves. No less than 3, anyway. I'm betting on something simple like a vac leak or bad MAF.

You can get them at lots of places. Make sure you get genuine Bosch. Bosch remanufactured is fine, too. But gotta be genuine. Not answering any more questions until you sort your punctuation out.
