Hello fellow C5 RS6 owners, I have yesterday purchased a 2004 C5 RS6 and am already submersing myself in all the brilliant info you guys and gals have amassed over the years on this site. The vehicle I have purchased is supposed to have a factory ABT tune, bumping HP to 507 but I am struggling to find any info on it apart from a single post on a smilar site to this one based in the US. I have run the option (PR) codes and on there is a code called S3G - which translates to "Vehicles with special conversion/ installation" could this possibly be it?
Do any of you know where or how I can find out more about this? Am naturally keen to know what the performance of the car should be before it goes on a dyno at some point. Thank you for your help in advance.
Factory ABT kit - any details?
Re: Factory ABT kit - any details?
Is your car originally from Switzerland?
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Re: Factory ABT kit - any details?
mine was an ABT and according to them the kit consisted of:
ECU software meaning the car would develop cca 505hp and 630NM
ABT quad mufflers
speed limiter set to 280kmh(i reckon the car can do 310 as 280 did it with ease
)
they also offered the following:
"exhaust system for RS6 as well as a sport brake system front and rear axle as well as wheels up to 20” according to an ABT representative in Germany i have inquired when i bought the car. But i guess most RS6 only have the ECU and quad mufflers.
Attached is a document ABT emailed me as part of their response to my inquiry.
As a personal note, the ABT tune does make quite a difference compared to a stock one even though it was a conservative tune given the low torque raise, from 560 to 630, most likely to protect the gearbox, the thing i didn't like was the quad mufflers which didn't sound as good as the stock one when revving it, but it sound better on downshifting.

Thanks, Mik15, then it is quite clear as we are talking about the same car...

@Shoppinit, no, the car is a GCC spec car purchased in the Middle East
