Going to replace the spark plugs in my car and just wondering which ones would be best?? Had a look through the forums already but there's nothing showing up for C5's.

Any recommendations on what to buy? I.e. NGK,Bosch,iridium/platinum/silver or whatever?? ... They all claim to be the best so you don't know who to believe!! .. That's why your as well asking the guys in the know ;-)

Off the top of my head, OEM are NGK PFR7Q. I used genuine OEM Audi RS2 plugs in mine on the recommendation from MRC. There is a lot of information on here about plugs, including a 'how to' from Shop about changing them.

Ahh yeah I've seen the NGK PFR7Q pop up in RS4 forums as well. Must be fairly decent then? If they are OEM then they must be quality! .. I think I'll order a set over the weekend.

I remember putting iridium plugs in my S3 but tbh you couldn't really notice a difference.

Thanks for your input... I've spotted that 'how to' already and I've book marked the page :) very handy indeed!!

Ill do this first then service both the Haldex and the gearbox together. Then we're laughing :p :p

C5 RS 6 has nothing to do with Haldex. It's a Torsen based system.

Do the fuel filter while you're at it.

Torsen is full time 4wd (putting it simply), Haldex is part-time 4wd and has never been anywhere near the RS6, chalk and cheese.

Yeah I know it's a full time 4wd system. My S3 had the Haldex. ...

Don't forget to ask for a long weight when you buy them spark plugs.

You'll need some elbow grease for the install also.

You may need some sparks for the grinder..

Or the one that got me when I was 16 and simple...

5 litres of tartan paint. No builders merchants in Cambridge stocked it!
