The RS6 is due new tyres and currently on Conti 3's but fancy a change. Think they are more suited to a smaller car like my last M3.

Probably start a real bunfight here but what are the best tyres to go for. Price not an issue, I've got past the horror of buying 4 high performance tyres so many times now!

Heard good things about Michelin Pilot SS3's

Your opinions valued. Thanks

Them Goodyear Eagle F1 assy2's, or Michelin PS2 R01's. Don't consider anything else.

Next question.

How you gunna drive? I have done around 10k I think on the best tyres you can buy (f1s) and still got plenty left. The wife drives the car during the week and I give it a blast at the weekend and runs up to Scotland.

I have used nothing other than PS2s for the last 3 years, best road tyre by far.

I used Hancooks on my S4 after reading several promising reviews that rated them top against the big players. The price was also better than other premiums. I rated them to be honest, as good as Eagle F1s.

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport 3 on my RS4. Superb tyres in wet and dry conditions.

These to me are what plastidip is to Shopp!

Get the tyres and enjoy the stiffness they bring to your under garments.

Yep. I ran those on the Cupra and they made a world of difference compared to the tyres that were previously fitted, they just stick and woman noticed a night & day difference in how the car handled, gave her a ton of confidence.

I fitted them to the S3 now and that is pretty well on rails. Both Bam and I run cream of the crop Michy Pilot Super Sport tyres on the 6 ( well he does in non-winter as he is a big girl really ;) ) and I am running them year round. Hairy at the best of times in the real cold/wet but bootiful in the dry.

I've been running these for the past couple of years; 255/35R19 (96Y) ULTRAC SESSANTA XL by Vredestein. For some reason Goodyears weren't available at the time and these were the next best thing. They last me about 12 months.
