I got my midi-stubby from ebay. Will post the details up later if you want. I didn't want the small ones some have on here and really didn't want the beesting OEM.

Ditto, think mine was for a mini?
Still, I like it and I get very good radio reception.

I have a brand new stubby VAG antenna sitting on my fridge that I could part with. Like Dunc I use the mid stubby antenna.

Can't remember how much it was but could have only been a couple of quid. It's a screw off, screw on job. Nothing to it really.

Aye aye Footlong...you appear to be stock piling random spare parts...not a criticism ...merely an observation.

No offence taken. I have various bits hanging around that I have no use for and I need to be getting myself on the property ladder ASAP so I will be selling everything that isn't bolted down! Except for the car, I don't see that ever being sold.

think mine still has the originally fitted aerial with the spiral wire on it, surprised i'm not contacting nasa with it! it has perished all around the base, and im not to keen on most of what i've seen im going to take it into work and make up a prototype replacement (will have no internals but is only the prototype)
now the question is polished or brushed, ally or stainless or just rubber coat it?

ha plasti dip is awesome stuff! my personal fave is chemical metal (along with the duct tape and wd40 )
nah ive been looking and reckon reckon brushed stainless would match the wingmirrors and not clash with the silver paint work, will get a few made up tomorrow and post some pics during/after.
