Hi,

I have a used TC and valve body for sale. They where replaced with TC and VB from 517trans. I purchased donor TC and VB in the US and sent them to 517trans for upgrading. The OEM VB and TC is now replaced with the upgraded parts.

The TC and VB are fully functional. They where replaced as a precaution when i had the engine and gearbox out due to a blown head gasket.

Parts are located in Norway, but shipping internationally is no problem.

The parts has been running for 120 000KM.

What sort of cost would you be looking at for these, and would you split them? I dont need the TC really, but the valve body could be usefull.

What do you think of the 517trans VB?

hi,

i would prefer to sell both items together, but i have had reply from persons which are interested in only one of the items so i will evaluate to sell them separate.

i am uncertain of the market price for used TC and VB. Anyone able to give me an cost estimate for the two items?

It works fine. No big change from when i had the OEM TC and VB. Shifting times might be improved some...

Please note that my VB and TC was working fine, i replaced them as a preventive maintenance effort when i had the engine out.

Did you have the rest of the gearbox rebuilt while it was out, new clutch packs, pump, etc?

Hi,

I only changed VB and TC. Had no problem with the gearbox prior to the change out. Based on what information i could find on forum etc leaking seal in TC and plugging channels in VB was the most common issue.
