C5 RS 6 Top Gear Review vs E55, M5, S Type R

Some of you may not have seen this, so I thought it worth posting. Clarkson picks the RS 6 over the Benzo, BMW and Jaguar. It got a damn good review, I also remember the C5 RS 6 plus getting a 5 star rating from Evo. There was such a buzz when this car came out, I was in school - and remember it. Enjoy...

yeah seen that, theres another test were the beast is tested vs the e55...but cant find it atm...
and in another test the gearbox exploded/caught fire...

Has that been shortened? In the original didn't he stop and ask directions from Keith Moon?

That has been cut. It was Nick Mason from Pink floyd he spoke to for directions.

Dunno, think all that was filmed right by Nick Masons house. He used to lend Top Gear his cars for testing/filming, pretty sure he owned an RS6 aswell.

Keith Moon's ghost would just direct you to the nearest pool! I think the car did the lap in 1.34s or so.

The car looks a bit high at the back. Surely the DRC couldn't have been broken already.

Yeah, it did 1:33 (very wet). That's right, there is a longer episode, it won't be too hard to find, I didn't realise I'd linked to the shorter one.
Mav, find them other episodes please!

Yes nick mason did have an rs6! It was an rs6 plus in avus silver! Was for sale few months back when i bought my b5!
