Chris. Not the pickup. That cost me £15:00 with DRP On top of the £120:00.
Still very reasonable. 8)

They should get mine this morning.
They say 24 hr turnaround.
Wow that was quick. Call at 11:00 this morning. New screen fitted. Will arrive back to me tomorrow. Impressed so far.

Very nice. I’ll give them a call later. Might try and arrange for a fix while I wait. 😎

They do while you wait. Presume you have to arrange in advance.

Finally got the cluster installed. No missing or faded pixels.
Many thanks to everyone that helped.

Out for a drive yesterday. Noticed I do not have any backlights on the dials. Everything else is ok.
Night time driving a bit of an issue at the moment.
Same problem with the spare cluster I fitted. Lived with that until mine came back after I had the new dis screen fitted.
Weird same problem on two clusters.

Have you tried adjusting the intensity?

Hi Shop. Yes high or low doesn’t make any difference.
New screen perfect
Time and date ok
Odometer ok
Just the dials no backlight.

Yes brand new one.
Everything working perfectly until I switched the clusters. Even the thumbwheel for brightness.
Was wondering if a fuse has blown but I doubt it cos the climate control is all ok.
Or perhaps a setting needed via VCDS ?
All good fun.

Check the connection on the back of the headlight switch.

Second this! You did tell me it was a bitch to get to the connectors, wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve just not clipped it down properly.
