They are inside the bellows IIRC. I'll see if I can get a pic tomorrow.

I took some time at work this evening trying to adjust the ride height but without success, maybe I didn't try hard enough.

We'll see over the next few weeks

Daily running update.

Tankful 1 = 18mpg,
Tankful 2 = 20mpg
Tankful 3 = 17mpg (had fun though)
Tankful 4 = hoping for over 22mpg as it's currently showing 25mpg on my display.

I never thought I'd be celebrating getting over 23 mpg!

Indicated 25.5 mpg equated to 23.4 mpg.

Here's hoping for a few more on the next tankful

Yes it does but below that is miles remaining and you can see that I've covered 400 miles on the trip

My other tankfuls have been around 2mpg over reading

Yes I've performed sacrilege...

But I need it to be able to tow now and again and it fits without having to modify the bumper or bodywork in any way.

Oh yes... I re-badged it too.

Sorry BamBam!

Also, a new tailgate catch sorted the annoying (your tailgate is open!) light on the dash, the alarm going off randomly and the courtesy lights at the back working again :)

A few more things to go on the car yet but it's getting there.

I've done the same and put a towbar on as well. I looked at the swan necks but went with a flanged towbar as I need it for the bike rack as well as towing the speedboat.

Works out quite well as all I had to do was remove the rear grill insert and cut a 1" square in the bumper. The towball and socket is removable and replacing the rear grill insert means you cannot tell it is there.

Considering you rebuilt your own gearbox, tow away my son. It might be illegal or uninsured, innit.

Be interesting to know what the law is on towing in a car not homologated for towing.

The shell and car is... as all of the other A6 C5s on the planet are.

The suspension and transmission were the reason that Audi said you can't fit one.

I no longer have the DRC and if I screw the trans... hey ho I'll rebuilt it again!
