Sorry, she's not really known for her tits, she has a great chassis though!

The latest one, full 3D etc? This sounds promising, I'll be drooling over your dash tomorrow.

It was a joke, Chunk. I know it was a request for yourself but being me I couldn't help offering some innuendo.

Yep,3D map, SDHC etc, just a race against time currently for him. He currently has no headlights on his refaced A3 (as in newer front end) and it is a bumper off job to fit. He had the bulbs delivered here today so he can get home!

The vast majority of the RNSE wiring is in now and I just tried out some Bussa Buss on the MP3, yummy. Worst case I will be coming up with the normal E in there.

Latest gen RNS-E is in and everything appears to be working correctly with the exception of the satnav figuring out that I am actually moving along currently. Isn't getting a compatible speed sensor signal at present. Nigel is a nutter and is doing his best to sort it out now despite me saying no rush at this time on a Friday evening.

That's odd. Don't you just use the GALA wire?

Make sure the GALA is connected. Take it for a 10 minute drive and it should calibrate. The same thing happened when I fitted an RNS E to a D2 S8. If the latest gen RNS E works, I'm ordering one tonight. Did he swap over the faceplate for you?

When I put mine in I didn't have the gala wire connected initially and it worked fine although a little jerky. I thought the RNS-E just needed a gps signal to function but the gala wire makes it more accurate when moving. Perhaps the new version is different.

Guys, haven't got time to talk about this now sadly. Should have been at the hotel ages ago but due to me choosing to do this and Nigel being an utter perfectionist we are still here. Been up since 4am so head is foggy, will try to explain things in the morning but it seems to be something to do with the latest gen not picking up the wheel sensors properly or a gala convertor or summat. NHN (Nigel) really knows his stuff as many know so if it can be sorted, he will sort it.

Well the nav sputtered in to life properly after it had been in the car for a while on the way down to the hotel and Nigel had been trying various things that I am too tired to try to explain on here. Guided us here perfectly with chase & status banging out in the background. No radio currently due to a diversity adaptor not getting here in time.

The silver knobs aren't on currently but they will be when he comes back to convert the mirrors.

As for the brakes..........so far looking good! Had no chance for the final bleed and a little couple of things to wait for bedding in to see how it goes but they appear to be working as expected overall!
