We're back on the subject again are we?

This is extremely difficult to pick just 3 in each category. Think I could easily have 25 in each, but the first 3 that spring to mind are:

Chilled out cruisin’ on empty road (3 songs):
Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
It Could Have Been A Brilliant Carreer - Belle & Sebastian
No Rain - Blind Mellon

What you sing out loud to and air drum to when no one can see you but would otherwise never admit to liking (3 songs):
Video Killed The Radio Star - The Buggles
Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins
Up Town Top Ranking - Althea & Donna

Hoonin’ toons – they make you wanna go warp speed (3 songs):
Disarm - Smashing Pumpkins (in fact, just about the whole of Siamese Dream album)
Know Your Enemy - Rage Against The Machine
Blister In The Sun - Jane's Addiction

Totally not your style, but can’t help loving it (1 song):
Relax (the 12" version) - Frankie Goes To Hollywood
*SOLD* - currently looking for a replacement
03 Missano Red Avant
Silver Leather, H&Rs, Dension iPod Connection kit
85k miles

Blister in the Sun has gotta be Violent Femmes, innit? The gayest lead singer name, EVAH. Gordon Gano pronounced Gay-now.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Due to most on here being boring and not posting their lists, how about adding groups people have seen in concert?
My first concert was Status Quo when I was 12 years old, then in no particular order -

Embrace, seen them about 5 times
Ocean color scene about 6 times
Doves 2 times
Paul Weller (bloody awful gig due to crap sound system)
U2
The Darkness 2 times
Rod Stewart
Niel Diamond
Stereophonics
Feeder
Morning Runner
Tenacious D
Coldplay
Oasis
Stone Temple Pilots

Think that's it

Good idea. That's a decent list, Dunc.

First I saw was Jean Michel Jarre at Wembley. Twas a very good show. Then:
Deacon Blue
Massive Attack
Morcheeba
Joe Jackson
Röyksopp
Eric Truffaz
De Phazz

And lots of random stuff I've forgotten (yes, even more random than that lot).
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Massive attack were brilliant. It was a long time ago when they were barely known - long before Teardrop. Long before Protection, even (which is still one of the best tunes in the world, ever). I was in Bristol and they were doing the Bristol scene. Karmacoma...

I highly recommend Joe Jackson. I only went because my mate knew the guitarist and we got on the guest list. Turned out to be a really good show.

I forgot Jazzanova, too. Very memorable. Had just broken up with my Aussie g/f and was having a complete belter of an evening in Bristle with my sis. Ended up in a dodgy underground den in Saint Pauls where they were playing dominos. 3 taxis refused to take us there before we got one daring soul. Scary if you're not drunk enough. We were.

Ah, memories.

Wow, look at me waffle. You could almost confuse me for footers.

Ah, you're quite right Bam. I've only got the Jane's Addiction cover in my collection though.

Some of the bands I've seen live (almost all have been in various small venues in Bristol, and almost all were a good few years ago now!)

Placebo
Screaming Trees
Menswear
Echobelly
Ash
Suede
Sleeper
The Wannadies
Spacehog
The Bravery
Cast
The Prodigy
The Longpigs
Frank Black
Embrace
Gomez
Heavy Stereo
The Super Furry Animals
The Hives
Hard-Fi
The Charlatans
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers (travelled to Cardiff to see these!), supported by James Brown
Elastica
JJ72
Primal Scream
Travis
Gene
Shed 7

I'm starting to sound like a dick now, so I'll stop.
You get the idea though... The mid - late 90's was quite a good time for live music for me!
