Ordering Bilko's one today after my Stubby turned up yesterday. On anything other than strong radio signals, the reception is noticeably worse than the big boy.

Surprising. I tested mine on a weak station and didn't notice any difference. Maybe your diversity system is stuck. Not even sure is the car uses diversity for FM.

Mines falling to bits, any reason why you cant cut the upper part off the original one, might be a silly question, not looked at it yet
