Where you getting the C6 brakes from? You just going with uprated C6 discs, or C6 calipers too? How much is it costing you out of interest?

Someone I know is selling them, just waiting to hear about the price of fitting and the fitting kit from Grizz. I think the kit from him is about £2.5k, I'm not 100% on that so do ask him to make sure.

Don't modify it too much! Oh and cambelt for anything else - it is 2.5 years overdue! :o

As per my earlier post, the cambelt is being done along with a full service, healtcheck and any other issues that are picked up guys. The extras are in addition to the routine maintenance. You guys need to stop skim reading posts!!

You should get intercoolers before brakes.

I can't wait until all the works done, the car has done about 190 miles in my ownership, 175ish were the drive back.

Is anyone up for a big RS6 gathering? Basically a rip off of the B7 RS 4 one but with RS6s?

We could make it better then the RS4 meet by combining it with Dyno sessions. Can't think of a reason why the B7 guys didn't think of that. :biggrin3:

I would be up for a meet. Not really interested in dyno now cause i have been there and done that and i unlike the b7 boys dont need to dyno every month to check carbon build up :jump:

edit: humour/truth

The car will be brilliant amar but kind of sad it isn't being kept standard, thought it was just for shows or has it now changed to everyday thrash car?

Nope, its not going to be used everyday, for various reasons, I have a BMW 320 D Coupe M Sport that I drive everyday.

I did originally plan to keep it standard. But honestly, I can't see the point.

I'll enjoy it much more faster and louder
I'm not bothered about re sale
All parts fitted will be of the highest quality (Milltek etc) and are tried and tested and recommended by forum members
All mods are reversible

The word modification sometimes sounds quite ugly as its what people say when they are doing up their Saxo. Let's just say, I'm enhancing it. Sound better?

I'd be interested to hear why you think it's sad its being 'enhanced' I know others do too, maybe you can sway me to keep it standard.

I treat mods as OEM 'plus'.

It's the 'how it should've been sent out the factory!'

I have always loved that car amar and thought one day it will be the best looking, standard car with the lowest miles on the clock that will fetch silly money. After all though, its only a car and more importantly it's YOURS so you can do what the feck you want.
